90, hundred thousand

"Can you count upto 90, hundred thousand?"

"Yes, I can."

"Please count."

"Well it will take a very long time. And I have no idea how long."

Frankly I have no idea where did my 5 year old daughter pick that number up. But if there is one number that one can find her talking about these days, it is "90, hundred thousand".

Would I not love to test Sherlock Holmes now over this little mystery?

Any idea what could that number possibly represent?

Ninety is a number they all know, and 90 is close to 100. Then the next biggest number is 1000.

So...90, hundred thousand!

Ask her...you'd be surprised at the explanation she comes up with. Might amuse you or surprise you.

[How's your headache? Sounds like post-mustard oil, if you ask me].

Lol GG, that was my initial thought too. But why would a 5 year old hear the word thousand?

I have asked her and she has not idea where she picked it up from.

PP, I know I should be ashamed of myself but the fact remains that I do not know how to attach a picture to the blog. I tried using some tools but I could not. So :(.

And yes GG, you must be telepathic.... I know when someone posts a comment on my blog because it comes as a mail to my account immediately. And when you had put your comment today, I had a terrible headache and I just could not sit infront of the computer.

Ofcourse now I am feeling much better. Thanks.

I think the little one was trying to think what was the biggest number she knew.
About posting pictures, I'm using www.flickr.com It is easy to use and it is free. You just have to register to create a free account, upload your photos and paste the links to those photos in your blog.
