About Me
- Name: F-ftOS
I own a couple of very small restaurants. This blog is intended to share some anecdotes from the journey so far and some hilarious experiences I have had. This is also a story from the "other side". A customer can review us from the outside on various forums. Some of the views are balanced and some not. Some have had genuine bad experiences and some, made up. But a restaurant management side rarely gets a chance to tell their side of the story. This is a let out for such feelings and thoughts too. I shall also try to share some recipes here. These would be practical recipes that one can make in a jiffy or at least on a short notice. So heres wishing me all the best in this endeavour. F-ftOS.

yum! i think i'd enjoy india
We have those here, in some of the Indian restaurants... not bad but not really one of my favourites though.
Doesn't matter what they are called in English, if it contains Potatoes....I'D EAT IT! Sounds yummy
Dcver, not my favorite too, coz they are fried. But one thing I am sure, they can not be authentic in Indian restaurants abroad. They never were in the Indian restaurants in US. Actually, nothing was authentic in those Indian restaurants. :(
Lol Icy, Potatoes yes. Anytime.
PP, it depends on one's perception of India. We are low on adventure sports, infrastructure (bad roads though not everywhere, decent accomodation), but if you like history, nature etc... this is the place.
I wouldn't know cuz I've never been to India, but we do have a lot of Indians here and people who came from the Portuguese territories in India. When I compare the food in Indian restaurants elsewhere it seems different from the ones in our country, but surely you are right, I doubt the Indian food we get here is exactly the same you have there.
I am going to visit India one day. I know I will. I'm going to go to Pondicherry. And Goa. And Naini...somethingthal...never mind I can't pronounce the names...I will be there one day.
Beautiful rain.
Nainital.... lovely place.
And as I am typing this, it is raining outside.
