Rain - A view from my office.

Yesterday, it rained hard. Lovely weather. Perfect time for Ginger Tea and Pakodas.

Pakodas, ummm I have no idea how to describe them. Pakodass are stuffings of potatoes/onions in gram flour, is it!!!! I am not very sure what its called in English.

We have those here, in some of the Indian restaurants... not bad but not really one of my favourites though.

Dcver, not my favorite too, coz they are fried. But one thing I am sure, they can not be authentic in Indian restaurants abroad. They never were in the Indian restaurants in US. Actually, nothing was authentic in those Indian restaurants. :(

Lol Icy, Potatoes yes. Anytime.

PP, it depends on one's perception of India. We are low on adventure sports, infrastructure (bad roads though not everywhere, decent accomodation), but if you like history, nature etc... this is the place.

I wouldn't know cuz I've never been to India, but we do have a lot of Indians here and people who came from the Portuguese territories in India. When I compare the food in Indian restaurants elsewhere it seems different from the ones in our country, but surely you are right, I doubt the Indian food we get here is exactly the same you have there.
